How approval works
Every request starts as a request. Nothing is confirmed until you say yes, so a full calendar or an overnight message can never lock you into a job.
A customer requests a time
They open your free booking link, choose a service and pick a slot from your availability.
The slot is held briefly
The requested time is reserved for a short window so two customers cannot claim the same slot while you decide.
You approve or reject
The request lands in your booking inbox. Approve it to confirm the booking, or reject it and the slot opens again.
The booking is confirmed
The customer can reopen their booking link to check the status, and you can send a one-tap WhatsApp update. Automated WhatsApp messages are coming soon.

How much does BookMeLah cost?
BookMeLah is free in this release. You can create your booking page, add services, set your availability and approve requests without paying, and we do not collect card details. If a paid plan is introduced, we will show the price and tell you before charging anything.
Do my customers need to download an app or create an account?
No. Customers open your booking link in any browser on their phone, choose a time and leave their name and phone number. There is no app to install and no password to remember.
Do I need my own website to use BookMeLah?
No. BookMeLah hosts your booking page at bookmelah.com/your-name, and you share that free booking link wherever your customers already are — WhatsApp, Instagram or your Google Business Profile.
How does approval work?
Every request starts as a request. When a customer picks a slot, it is held for a short window and lands in your inbox. You approve it to confirm the booking, or reject it to reopen the time. Nothing is confirmed until you approve it.
Will it sync with my Google Calendar?
Yes. Connect your Google Calendar and BookMeLah blocks the times you are already busy, so customers only see slots you can actually take. Confirmed bookings are written back to your calendar.
What happens if I stop using BookMeLah?
You may stop at any time. There is no contract and no fee in this release. When an account ends, data is deleted or anonymised as described in the retention section of the privacy notice; the provider terms explain this in full.
Does BookMeLah work for a small business in Malaysia?
Yes. BookMeLah is designed for Malaysian service businesses and uses Malaysia time (MYT). Providers use it for salons, tuition, massage, grooming and other appointment-based work.
